Several features of ACEP-EMedHome.com are now available for mobile access through your Web-enable mobile device.
Several features, shown below, are immediately available via your Web-enabled mobile device. These features will be presented in a special mobile-enhanced version that mimics functionality available to you now on this website, but tailored specifically for delivery to mobile device.
Any Web-enable mobile device should work with EMedHome Mobile, as long as a current Safari, Opera, or Windows Mobile Web browser is installed.
To watch video, or listen to audio, your mobile device should have a built-in player. If EMedHome Mobile recognizes your device as an Apple iPhone, you will be sent video in QuickTime format. Otherwise, video will be sent as a mobile-friendly WMV file.
A high speed unlimited data plan is strongly recommended, since the video and audio files are substantial in size. Please check with your carrier to make sure you are able to download unlimited data or significant charges may result.
Before you begin using EMedHome Mobile, you may wish to test your device. Point your Web browser to http://www.emedhome.com/m and login with your existing EMedHome.com subscription account. If you do not have an active subscription, you can get one by signing up today.
Once logged in, scroll to the bottom of the menu and click "Test Your Device." The screen will tell you which platform and browser you are using. If the information does not appear to match your platform or browser, please complete the simple form on that page so that we can review the issue.
Further down on the testing page are links to sample audio and video files. Use these shortened test files to make sure you have an adequate Internet connection to download large files and that your device can play these files properly.
