The mechanism consists of three parts:

the base 

the bracket 

the sliding car

the base and the bracket are the fixed part and the sliding car is the moving part.

The upper nozzle and the upper sliding plate are fixed in the base, while the lower nozzle and the lower sliding plate are fixed in the sliding car which moved in the bracket, so as to realize the control of the liquid steel flow.
